EP1: London’s Street Busker: Charlotte Campbell

In Today’s podcast I’ve taken it right back to where I started my journey as a singer, on the streets of London.  Our guest is one of London’s most formidable street musicians, Charlotte Campbell.

Street busking gave me some great tools and opportunities but Charlotte has taken it to another level. In this episode we de bunk some busking myths and understand how Charlotte has forged a successful career as an independent artist from the ancient art of busking in London.

Often found busking along the river Thames and in London’s busiest train stations, Charlotte’s street performances have led to sold out shows in London and slots at Cornbury, Henley and Glastonbury Festival.

Charlotte has released her music independently. In 2021 her original songs were featured on ITV’s Love Island, along with her cover of The Killers’ Mr. Brightside. She is a playlisted artist in every UK Caffe Nero and her singles have gained attention from BBC Introducing.
